The originally posted GPLL schedule had to change when Oklahoma City dropped out of the league.  See the official schedule for details.  Our first game is this weekend, May 31st, at 11:00 against Wichita.

Jon Brenneman decided to hand the presidency over after more than a decade running Flying Monkey.  His reign was a glorious one, with many highlights including: establishing a relationship with the Flying Monkey brewery and rebranding the old Kansas City Lacrosse Club; taking the Monkeys onto the national lacrosse scene, playing tournaments in Minnesota, Chicago, Texas and New Orleans; and almost singlehandedly winning the coveted Triple-T award at the Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament.  Outside the GPLL, he established the original Kansas City Summer League and has become one of the top refs in the area.  Thanks for all you've done, Jon.  See you on the field.

Steve Penrod is taking over the presidency, with Derek Jander just a heartbeat away in the vice-president position.  They aim to maintain the team's position as one of the premier lacrosse clubs in the midwest.

It's time to pay team dues if you haven't already.  Just $50 per year.

Also, email Jon with your name, position, and desired jersey number before June 10th in order to get on the official roster.

The 2006 GPLL Schedule is set ^__ check out our games.  We've only got one out of town weekend on June 24th, so clear your schedule for that date.

The Friday night "Battle of the Beers" went so well, we are going to hold more Friday night games, starting with one on May 19th.  Faceoff will be at 6:30 at the same Blue Valley School District Campus fields at 151st and Metcalf.

The first annual "Battle of the Beers" is Friday, May 12th.  Flying Monkey will play Boulevard Lacrosse (formerly 4 Winds).  After the game, the battle will continue with beers provided by both breweries.  Everyone is invited to attend.

The game will be at the Blue Valley School District Campus at 151st and Metcalf.  Faceoff is at 6:30 – see you then!
